DAY 1
iwan and i meet up and went to skool. while we wear walking up to our meeting places, i was like telling iwan," dun walk so fast lei." at the meantime, i was 'spotting' yellow shirts. cos we were told to wear our grp colour shirts and my colour is yellow. iwan's white. den, we seperated. when i reached there. it was..... cold. hahas. really. no one tok. all so paiseh. den one guy call shaun started toking. den i got to jEn yiN and jiNgyI. we sat there as we waited for the rest b4 we headed to our examination hall. we reached there and started tokin already. it was still fine. den we had a round of introduction. hahas. as grps started strolling in, we grp many grps wearing their grp colour. i tink it was quite a gd idea as we can see standardization in grps lo. these r the grp names..
Silverbird, Blue Ocean, Green Pasture, Red Bull, Black Shadow, Yellow Umbrella(mine), White Peacock(iwan's), Purple Garden, Pink Muffin, Brown Sugar, Orange Sunshine, Golden Smile.
den we were looking at Pink Muffin. so funny lo. guys wearing pink. den we have our IDs wif us. wearing some tags representing our names and grp. den pink muffins were wearing their super bright PINK tie ard their neck. hahas. we have our grp cheers and our designing our flags. our grp leaders are clever. my grp is yellow umbrella. den they bought an umbrella. we put it in our flag. hahas. and we got the top 3 BEST flags. hehex. after tat, we had our pathetic lunch. is was nasi lemak w/o eggs. jus a packet of rice, ikan bili and a super skinny fish. plus super lotsa chili. our grp girls eat until sweating, face nose lips redden. it was the most unsatisfying lunch i ever had in any of the camps i attended.
in the afternoon, we had our station games. it was fun. and i was always sabo-ed. dunnoe y, i seemed to be the most enthu one in the grp. when the leaders asked for volunteers, the guys will b the 1st to siam. den no ones go, the other grps will start to boo us. bo bian, i will go up. den after tat, the leader will b like,"shiyin, u go 1st." cos i 'seem' to b like always standing in front. in fact, it's tat ppl r backing instead of me moving infront. got it? den we had our dinner. it was good la. but no lights. it was a... candlelit dinner. hahas. straight after tat, we had our Scavenger Hunt. i wasnt enthu in tis game. cos i'm bushed. really. and my stomach is not feeling well. den i jus follow where they r goin. and i dun really like Scavenger Hunt. cos they r always findin white hairs, stones, pens...etc. after tat, we jus went to bathe. guess where we sleep? the exmaination hall. the hall is like a carpark lo. i guess it was a carpark. cos we can see those marings on the floor. and it was super dusty there. k la. wif aircon in the day. night, it was super hot. the hall is seperated into 3 parts. right, for girls. left for guys. and centre, for ppl to walk. hahas. den we see the guys are really pathetic. they r either sleeping on the floor OR cardboards. hahaas. we girls got alot of sleeping bags. if u are walking in the centre of the hall, u can see the diff. lols!!
DAY 2
we need to eat our breakfast at 8. so we planned to wake up ealiest 7. but the other grps woke up at 6+. make so much noise. den at 630 like tat, the black shadow leader (ernest) shouting cheers. the pom pi pi cheer. wah. den i sit up, saw all the girls and boys packing, walking ard. but my grp de girls r all sleeping. very cool lo. at 645, the whole grp of us sit up. looked bluur. hahas. den we go brush teeth. after breakfast is the Amazing race.
Amazing Race. i din enjoyed it. i was one of the followers only. we need to open one envelope, den guess wad's the mystery. den sms the ans to one person. he will reply correct/incorrect. if incorrect, we haf half an hr penalty. meaning, if we finish the race by 4, they will count tat as 430. we got the 1st clue wrong. but they will still tell us the task. we need to go online and check our mail to find wad's the task. we used our grpmate gprs to log in. super ex lo. 1st stop at kismis, near np la. den our task is to find fire hydrant. den sms the ans to the person. our next stop is at blk 288H at bukit batok. den we need to open one envelope, a puzzle. Singapore Turf City. but we msg Singapore Turf Club. WRONG! another half an hr penalty. *argh! we jus go there de GIANT find wad the price of coffee, buns all these. den when we got there, raisin buns were sold out. argh! den dunnoe how lo. we jus played cheat la. ask other grp. den lunchtime! at MacRitchie Reservoir. wahs. go all the way to MacRitchie for lunch lo. after tat is need to go Orchard, Heeren. wahs... we all very shagged and dirty. wear till like tat go town. tis time is much more difficult. need to dl one attachment fr the email den figure out the map. super hard lo. bo bian. need to go one internet cafe to figure out. next stop is city hall. tis is easy la. den back to np. haha. we arrive ard same time as iwan's grp. den all chiong. it's raining lo. after tat is dinner, den campfire.
Campfire. raining, so campfire is cancelled. argh! we haf our campfire indoor. the wood is put in the middle and torchlight is put ard and in it. hahaa. den i guess tis is their contingency plan la. they switch off the lights and we r blindfolded. jus walk in. abit sian la. haha. cos i planned tis b4 ma. b4 tat, our grp started the bombing cheer. den our leader said no bombing, cos its kinda demoralizing. den when we settled down at the campfire site. the other grps started bombing. we were like -.-'' wad's tis? den started campfire. performance fr all grps. den after tat got mass dance, mass songs. friendship dance. everything drag til 11+. den we go bathe. it was really a very very fun campfire.
after bathing, many went to sleep. it was ard 1+ ler. we had our supper. den isabel and me joined iwan's grp to play some games. den me and iwan introduce them the maffia game. hahahahaha. we palyed thrgout the nite. slept for a while. i tink less than 2 hrs.
DAY 3
we had our breakfast den prize-giving. hahahaa... tis time is special. we got our pts. den we will auction for our prizes. tis is very very fun. some grp bid till 200 pts and they got bread. hahas. very fun. i nearly lost my voice. hehe. after all these, we shouted our last cheer and break camp.
a very very fun camp. Thank God i attended tis. i am really looking forward to my day camp and i hope it will b as fun as tis. hahas. :)
